Mumbai is the No. 1 eCommerce Hub in India according to the eBay Census.

Mumbaikars lead the way with the most online transaction, followed by Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. In the latest census revealed by eBay which documents the buying and selling across Indians in the top 100 eCommerce cities and 28 states and six union territories.

Not surprisingly, the IT hubs of India -- Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka -- were the most wired states with the maximum number of towns where eCommerce originates.

Some interesting trends were also reveled about the online shopping habits of Mumbaikars:

-- They buy the most currency counting machines

-- Youth of Mumbai bought the most slogan T-shirts and tattoos in India

-- Loose diamonds and diamond rings are among the most bought products

-- Mumbai bought the most gaming consoles in India.

-- Western suburbs have the most active eBay communities in the city
