Update
We just got an update from Genius about the pricing of the BT-03A which is actually Rs.6,600 with a 1 year warranty mostly due to the increase in dollar rate and custom duty. I don't know why the price has shot up by this much but this certainly makes it a very expensive proposition. Because of this I'm forced to take down one more star from the rating.
Imagine listening to music from your MP3 player or mobile phone without those messy wires dangling! Bluetooth headphones are fast becoming the 'next big thing' in audio accessories and we have plenty of offerings to choose from. One thing keeping buyers at bay is the general size of the headsets, which usually tend to be on the larger side. If you go for the earphone style headsets then there usually is a transmitter that you have to clip onto your shirt.
Today we have a very interesting product from Genius which could very well be the answer to our problems. The BT-03A Bluetooth headset is (according to Genius) the smallest available in the world and offers the stereo quality of a full-sized headphone with the portability of an earphone.
It boasts of many impressive features that we will look into in this review. Let's begin with the bundle that accompanies the BT-03A.
Bundle

Some of the accessories are very similar in design to the Apple iPod. For example there is a single USB cable that can be used to charge the headset via a computer or it can be plugged into the adapter and charged from a wall socket. The bundle also includes a flat-pin to round -pin adapter so you won't be left stranded no matter where you are in the world.
The little square device in the bottom right corner is a Bluetooth audio transmitter which you can pair with the headphones for non-A2DP devices like mp3 players, Hi-Fi systems, TV's, etc. This is a really nice addition since it expands the usability to all sorts of entertainment devices and not just cell phones.
What remains, is the Instruction manual and a carry case, which will no doubt be very handy to carry the headset around. It would have been better if they could have provided a little bigger case for your charger and cable.

You can get a good idea from this picture as to how small they really are. The entire outer shell is made of plastic, which from the looks of it has been used many times before. The headset probably had a glossy finish when it was new, and this is what it will look like after a couple of months of usage.

The right side has the controls for music playback and he LED changes according to what mode you're in. The most easily accessible button has got to be the center button, since it's the largest. The rest are quite tricky at first and you'll need to take them off to see what you're pressing. The buttons themselves don't have a very good tactile response and you have to use some force to operate them, making it even more difficult.
