Features

The GPS unit itself is a dongle that looks like (and is as small as) a USB flash drive with a replaceable cap. As stated earlier, every accessory is black and has a rubberized non-reflective surface, which is easy to grip. The GPS dongle has a hole at the other end for attaching a lanyard.
There are two LEDs near the USB connector, one is green and other is blue. The green LED indicates GPS status and remaining logging capacity, while the blue one indicates Bluetooth communication status as well as logging/recording status.

The battery bank is an oval shaped pebble-like thing into which the GPS dongle has to be docked while logging. This is necessary because the dongle itself does not have any battery and has to depend on the battery bank for power. The battery bank contains a rechargeable 1100 mAh Li-ion battery, which can either be charged using the electric adapter (or car charger), which connects via the USB cable, or directly via the USB connection to a PC.
Once charged, the unit is ready for use. The battery bank has a sliding power switch on one side, which can be switched off when the unit is not in use. There is a power LED at the bottom, just above the power input socket, which lights up when the unit is being charged.
LED activity on the dongle can be decoded as follows; if the green LED is always on, it means that the GPS has not been able to fix its position and you need to make sure that it can be located by at least three satellites. When it is blinking, it means that it has established communication with the GPS satellites.
If the green LED is on for 2 seconds and off for 1 second, it means that over 80% capacity is still available for data logging. If it is on for 1 second and off for 1 second, then less than 80% capacity is free and while the LED stays on for 1 second and off for 2 seconds, it means the data capacity is expended.
The blue LED indicates information using different blink codes too. When it is always off, the Bluetooth communication is off and the recording is also off. If it is on for 0.25 second and off for 10 seconds, the recording is on, but Bluetooth is off.
It stays on for 2 seconds and off for 2 seconds when Bluetooth connection is on and recording is off. If it is on for 2 seconds and off for 0.5 second, it means that both Bluetooth and recording is on. During data upload, it remains on and off for 0.5 second.
