For those who complained about heating issues with ATI cards of late, PowerColor has just the solution for you. They have launched the LCS HD4870 512 MB, which sports liquid cooling. The card itself does not bundle along a liquid cooling kit, but have made provisions to attach third party ones.

It uses the EK WaterBlocks EK-FC4870 Acetal which ensures that the GPU, memory and power circuitry all receive good cooling. The card features a HD4870 graphics processor with 512 MB memory and both the GPU and memory are factory-overclocked at +50/+50 MHz.

According to test results on Driverheaven.net, the temperatures at full load were up to 24 degrees Celsius lower than a reference HD4870. The card is available abroad priced a little over US$ 350.
