NAVTEQ, a global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, officially kicked-off the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The developers have to build and submit original, pre-commercialized applications using dynamic positioning technology and NAVTEQ maps. The registration for Global LBS Challenge opened on October 31 and winners will share a global prize pool valued at over US $5.25 million in cash, tool and data licenses, and handsets.
