Cheap and loaded with features

Spice Mobile announced a new phone for users who have been craving for a cheap touchscreen phone. Dubbed as S930, the metallic finish phone is priced at just Rs. 7,999 and features finger swipe technology. There's not much explanation about how this feature enhances a user experience, but our best guess is that it tries to mimic iPhone in some ways. For instance, unlocking the phone by swiping a finger on the screen.

If you're not yet sold with the affordable price and touchscreen with finger swipe, then there's a decent 2 megapixel camera which also doubles up as a webcam when connected with PC. Other things include Bluetooth with A2DP, music player, FM radio recording/playback and pre-installed Opera Mini for all the browsing needs.

spice s930 touch screen ordered after watching homeshop.18 is totally waste. after placing an order the courier:first flight devivered me a parcel by collecting Rs.3499/- on hand & later when i checekd the parcel, i noticed the mobile with an outer cover of spice s930. who can understand about the mobile so soon? after a month or so, i could not operate with the feafftures announced on web which i had noticed at internet & finger swipe not working properly & as i was new to touch i thought i need experience & myself not educated much felt really bad visiting service centres of bangalore. now presently, i am in a position to throw the mobile & hardly, i have called 100 people wasting nearly one year. unable to use internet for long. service centre: mobile seva of jayanagar has deleted operamini browser & when enquired, harshly they replied WHAT'S MISSING...GIVE DETAILS...WHAT IS MEANT BY A BROWSER & SUCH WORDS I COULD NOT ANSWER HIM AS I WOULD JUST USE BROWSING CENTERS FOR INTERNET WORK. AFTER SOMEBODY'S ADVICE OF PAYING MUCH TO BROWSING CENTERS I ORDERED FOR THIS SPICE & NOW AM SUFFERING A LOT. i REQUEST ALL TO BUY MOBILES FROM PERSONS/SHOPS KNOWN & NOT TRUST ANY ADVERTISERS.............HOMESHOP.18 IS NOT RESPONDING ANYWAY & SERVICE CENTRES OF BANGALORE SAY.............
