The super-expensive phone range from Vertu just got a few additions. Vertu have teamed up with Ferrari to bring the Vertu Ascent Ti Ferrari edition phones. The three phones included in this limited edition will be the Vertu Ascent Ti Ferrari Nero sporting a black leather body, the Vertu Ascent Ti Ferrari Rosso (red), and the Giallo which will come in a shade of vibrant yellow.
The Ascent Ti Ferrari phones have been made with a lot of consideration so as to complement the car brand. The phone's chassis has been built using a high-grade titanium, the screen is created from a sapphire crystal and it has PVD-coated battery covers and keys to offer resistance from scratches.
The phone uses the same leather and stitching used in the interior of Ferrari cars, whereas the battery cover resembles the distinctive Ferrari bonnet styling. It also has unique ringtones in the form of Ferrari engine sounds, which are taken from the F430 and the 612 Scaglietti cars.
Here are the specifications for the phones:
> GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and WCDMA (2100Mhz)
> 5 hours talk time and 300 hours standby time
> Bluetooth connectivity
> 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash
> 4GB internal memory
The phones are available now, with only 2009 units up for sale.
