Competition sets your pulse racing? Then you could try your luck and put your gaming skills to use at the upcoming Zapak Gameplex Premiere League.
At this tournament, gamers will be able to challenge each other in some of the most popular games like Counter Strike, FIFA 08, and Crazy Kart.
Registration dates: 29th October 2008 to 5th November 2008
Users can register for the Gameplex Premiere League at any of the 35 Gameplex across 22 cities the country. The registration isn't free -- participants will need to pay Rs. 100 as registration fee. Check the Zapak website to locate a Gameplex near you.

What's in it for you? Well, apart from the thrill of competing against aggressive gamers, winners will get to be ranked among the top 100 gamers. Along with the honorary listing, there are some cash prizes to be won. The company has announced some "up to Rs. 5 lakh" cash prizes to be given away to winners in different categories; however, it hasn't disclosed the distribution pattern for this amount for individual winners and groups.
