The upcoming NXE update adds a new feature to the Xbox 360 -- you can now install games on to your console's hard drive.
The game install should lead to faster load times in games, but does it really work? MTV's Stephen Totilo went ahead and tested three different games: GTA 4, Fable 2 and Gears of War and found out that each game takes about 11 min to install, and eats up about 6 gigs of HDD space.
Further, games that were played from the installed HDD data loaded about 9-15 seconds faster. Time to invest in a bigger hard drive?
