User Interface
The User Interface was similar to the ones seen on most cheap (pun not intended) Chinese imports. It's not really jaw-dropping in terms of looks.
One can access music directly from the folders it's kept in via the File Browser. The FM can auto-scan and save a couple of preset frequencies.
The Music settings menu lets you choose different play modes and equalizers. Other than the presets, it also has a 5-band custom EQ setting.
The Aigo MP F598 can read text files and also has one game; the age-old classic Tetris. High-resolution photos took a few seconds to load completely in the full-screen mode.
Like the Transcend T.Sonic 850, you can't multitask listening to music and viewing photos. You can read text files while head-banging though. The UI is not exactly snappy; but usable nonetheless.
