T-Mobile's G1 is expected soon on announced date - October 22, and would be available at the retail outlets as well. But T-Mobile wanted to get an edge over competitors and offered pre-order shipping of G1 to T-Mobile subscribers' door step.
To everyone's surprise, the G1 handsets are reportedly being delivered ahead of its official release date. So those T-Mobile subscribers who've received G1 keep flaunting while other are trying www.UPS.com to track their G1. This raises expectations from mobile subscribers of other as well.
The G1 is expected to hit Indian shores in January 2009. The retail channel, pricing, and carrier plans are yet to be announced by HTC India. Will it be unlocked? Will HTC offer pre-order shipping? Stay tuned for the details
