The guys who gave us the Meizu M8 in our hands are back again. They have announced to launch a Wi-Fi enabled laptop in November which will sell for $250 (Rs. 12,200).
Dubbed as the Geek Laptop (we would rather call it a netbook), it has a 7-inch screen with widescreen VGA resolution, Intel Xscale 416MHz 32-bit CPU, 64MB SDRAM and 1GB memory. Linux is the available OS with additional memory option getting fulfilled by SD cards or U-Disks.
Other features it boasts of are LAN on the connectivity front, gameboy emulator and support for office and multimedia applications.
And yeah, for some extra bucks they will be bundling the Meizu M8 with the laptop as a special product launch in November. Does that mean M8 to be pre-launched before? Probably, yes.
It would be really stupid to buy this, when for a slight more i.e. for 300$, we can get Asus Netbook, Dell Mini, with Intel Atom 1.67 processor and 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, it really sums up very high compared to this.
I really don't understand the point of bringing this outdated configuration for a netbook.
I totally agree, the asus eee pc is currently available for rs. 12,800 and it has a webcam n bluetooth as well.. So , meizu is outdated for it's time. We'v got better stuff available.
