Take a look at this elegant 32-inch LCD TV and find out if it's a worthy buy.

Looks, Good HD (720p) performance, Price.

Function keys are on top of the panel, no A/V ports on the side, Average display quality, Ineffective Noise Reduction mechanisms.

It's that time of the year when you feel you need to upgrade your existing CRT and switch over to an LCD. Going by the typical budget of the average buyer, the 32-inch LCD TV seems like the most attractive option. We've reviewed the Sharp Aquos LC-32A33M 32-inch LCD TV and here's what it's all about. Design Apart of the Aquos line of LCD TVs from Sharp, I expected a lot more from the LC-32A33M than just the plain looks.

Dressed in black, the Sharp Aquos LC-32A33M looks elegant with a glossy piano-finish front-bezel and sharp lines running across its borders. It has sharp features with just a single curve running below the screen. A full set of buttons for all functions are placed on the top of the panel, very unconventional but let's keep it at that for now. Twin 10Watt speakers are placed just below the panel. After testing the LG Scarlet and the Samsung L6 with 'invisible' speakers, I must say, I did find the grille for the speakers a little out of place. The stand for the TV also has a piano finish but cannot swivel. This is something I didn't like so much. Overall, though not enticing, the LC-32A33M looks elegant.
