Build & Design
The Motorola MOTOZINE ZN5, though not as stunning as the RAZR, is a pretty good-looking phone. The build quality of the phone is also good with metal and rubberized plastic on its body. The phone has a great feel to it with this combination and is comfortable to hold in your palm.

On the face of the ZN5 is a large 2.4-inch screen and above it is the earpiece disguised by a Moto logo. Also at the top of the screen there are LEDs to indicate battery charging and Bluetooth ON. Below the screen is the 5-way navigation D-Pad. The D-Pad is a little small but still easy to use.
The only problem is that the center click is rather too small and requires you to use your finger tips to punch it. On either side of the D-Pad are soft keys.

There is a back key and an Album browser shortcut. The call and call-end buttons are placed further away from the D-Pad on the side of the soft keys. It follows with the alphanumeric keypad. Now the entire keypad, leaving aside the D-Pad, is very much like the MOTOROKR E8 but just that it's laid over a smoothly rubberized plastic instead of a glossy base.

The buttons are denoted by dotted crystal-like looking stuff. The backlighting for the keypad is more than sufficient and you'll be able to read the keys easily. The keys for some maybe uncomfortable to type but after a while you will get used to it. It took me over a day to figure out where the keys are. Between the rows of keys there are some extra buttons.

There's a Delete button, Media Share, and Camera/Video switch all of these light up only when in camera mode.
