Microsoft is turning up the heat on their competition. With the recent price cuts to their Xbox 360 console and the announcement of a completely new dashboard, they mean business. Dubbed as the 'New Xbox Experience', Xbox 360 users will be able to upgrade their dashboards starting November 19th.

"On that day, millions of Xbox 360 owners worldwide will experience a completely new Xbox 360 that is fun, social, and simple to use -- and puts more entertainment at their fingertips than any other device connected to the TV." Microsoft stated in a press release.

The new dashboard brings in a new life with features like:

Better Content Management-Multimedia content is placed side by side giving instant access to share with friends.

Personality Plus-Users can now create a customizable and animated avatar.

Xbox LIVE Party-This feature allows you to create a virtual party on your TV with up to seven friends. With LIVE Party, voice chat while you play games, share photos in real time and entertain friends all over the world.

Community made games-Microsoft will sell games made by common people in their Community Games channel on Xbox LIVE.

On-demand entertainment-Users can choose to stream Netflix content from a vast library of more than 12,000 movies and TV Episodes.
