Drake's Fortune is an excellent action adventure game; it has a tonne of explosions, a treasure, some zombies, a sexy siren, and an excessively talkative protagonist - it's custom made for Hollywood. The highly successful game has been associated with the idea of a movie before, but now it's official - well, almost.
Arad Productions, the studio behind hit titles like Spiderman and the X-men are moving their focus onto gaming franchises. A noble cause and a smart one at that, this may lead to some really interesting projects like the aforementioned Drake's Uncharted.
The studio boss Ari Arad believes that the game moved too quickly to the island setting where most of the action took place, he wants to slow things down a bit and add more depth to the story and characters. The man has produced mega hits like Spiderman, so he obviously knows what he is doing. Let's just hope that when the movie does come out, Nathan is still as funny.
Jonny Deep or Orlando Bloom.. but it may strike a similarily with the POC series... Brenden Fraser looks too old now... what the hell.. Jonny seems to fit perfectly....
