The Xbox World 360 magazine gives this game a generous 91% score.
We glimpsed "Dead Space" recently at the EA Experience in Mumbai, a new horror IP by publishing giant EA. The game which reminded us of Sam Neil's "Event Horizon" is due for release in a week and reviews have already started piling up.
The first review out in the Xbox World 360 magazine gives it a generous 91% score, which is a really impressive rating. Off late, horror titles have been a bit disappointing, so EA's latest venture can inject some life in the genre. The game is a third person action/horror title where the player takes control of an engineer named Isaac Clarke on board of an interstellar mining ship. The game has been marketed profoundly by EA, with a special trailer called the "Loved Ones" by NameJames Wan.
The interstellar mining ship is called the Ishimura, and the review calls it a Rapture in space. According to the review, the game's Zero Gravity aspect adds a new level of challenge to the game, and at the same time makes it more exciting.
Let's hope this zero-g sequences is a far-cry from the Crysis level. Well this is just the first review, wondering if the other reviewer's share the excitement.
