Have you found yourself playing Wii Tennis with a friend and wishing that you could really smell his/her sweat from the virtual waggle-fest? Wii Fit doesn't count, because chances are that you would be smelling your own playing that one... If you answered yes (and who wouldn't have?) -- Your dreams have been answered!
A company called AreusTech is planning to release an accessory for the Wii called, and we kid you not -- "Smells like Wii Spirit". The unit sits next to the Nintendo Wii and creates individual scents for the game you're playing. Playing Super Mario Galaxy? Prepare your nasal passageways to be bombarded with smells sweet and aromatic. Wii Sports gets you a decent sweat-smell, and Mario Kart Wii a smell like burnt rubber. What's more, AreusTech, bless their souls, have your investment covered as they promise to update their smells to keep themselves updated to new releases.
We can't help but think of how most of the third-party games on the Wii ought to smell like... well, poop.
