It's just been about 3 months since we received our previous gaming laptop - the Dell XPS M1730 - the Monster as I prefer calling it. Today we have another gaming laptop and this time around it's from MSI -the MSI GX620. MSI have recently released their new line of "G Series" laptops, 'G' basically symbolizing Gaming.

These laptops are powered by the Intel Centrino 2 platform, which along with enhanced performance, also provides great battery life. But we are mainly going to look at the gaming abilities of this laptop as it has an NVIDIA 9600M GT powering the graphics. So let's push it to its limit.

Bundle

MSI GX620

Power Cable & Adaptor

Driver CD

The laptop came loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium.

from where in mumbai can i get msi laptops? are there authorised retailers? how is the customer service of msi? how is the reliability and durability? because people in india usually create hype about dell and hp, so i need some awareness about msi, since i am very keen to buy it. awaiting reply.

It'd be nice if u had added the configuration of the laptop you recieved for review, instead of just pasting the specification table from the site, you didn't even mention what the processor inside was and somewhere you write turbo makes makes the processor go from 1.6 GHz to 1.8GHz, WTF man.I had to look at the sisoft sandra and match the colours to find out what the processor inside the laptop could have been. Also new feature in montevina is the support the switch between graphicscard an integrated and a dedicated one which some of the other laptops have, does this laptop support that. When you do a review plzz do write the configuration one would get for the price you mention.
