After a lot of controversy over the Blackberry service in India, RIM has managed to come out and release their latest offering - the Blackberry Bold. The phone will be available through Blackberry supported network operators (i.e Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance & BPL soon to follow).
The Bold has aimed to provide more than what RIM has had to offer through their previous handsets. With the inclusion of several multimedia features like DivX/XviD video playback, support for various audio formats, camera with first time video recording capability; the Blackberry Bold now portrays itself as a lifestyle handset.
The Bold reins from a new series - namely the 9000 series - and has undertaken a complete OS makeover. So along with its corporate image, RIM sees equal potential at the consumer end and the Bold is just the right solution for RIM to make a Bold statement that they no more just concentrate on enterprise but also the market needs.
Today we present to you a hands-on experience of the handset after toying around with it for around 30 minutes.
