The 14.1-inch widescreen with unique hinge design notebook comes in five vibrant colors
The new notebook from Fujitsu is targeted at the young tech-savy audience - not really though. The only feature meant to attract youngsters is the design and the range of colors it will be available in but on features front it comes with the usual specs.
The latest L series notebook has a 14.1-inch WXGA 1280 x 800 pixels LCD widescreen and a unique hinge design. The design has no obvious hinge joints are revealed when its cover is closed. Plus, it has rounded edges on the sides for a better grip and will be available in five colors including white and pink gold, black, turquoise blue, pink and purple.
Based on Intel Centrino 2 technology, L1010 is powered by Core 2 Duo processor, PM45/GM45 express chipset and Wi-Fi Link 5300AGN for wireless connectivity. It comes equipped with Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS video card with 256MB video RAM, HDMI out, built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam, digital mono microphone and two-way speakers.
Further, for connectivity the notebook features a built-in WLAN 11AGN, 1000/100/10Mbps GigaBit LAN, a 56Kbps modem and Bluetooth v2.1 for connectivity. Read more.
In addition, the notebook features a panel of illuminated sensitive-touch buttons to easily call up applications by just slightly pressing the sensor button. On the security front, the notebook features BIOS lock, hard disk lock and an anti-theft lock slot.
