Creative Zen X-Fi

I bought Zen X-fi 16gb from singapore, they gave a charger free and an sd card 92 gb), along with 2 years of warranty, at Rs.11,500. Let me tell you, except for Cownon Range of Media players, NOTHING, compares to the sound quality of Zen X-fi. Not ipod touch, not sony walkman, not any other player. As mentioned in the review above, that the video quality is poor, [ i also feel it has not been reviewed properly, the reviewer just copied a few points and mentioned then in brief from some other review]. The video quality is just as fantastic, the only thing is, there is no TV output, which would have been great. The other thing is that you need to convert all your videos to the format of your choice, which takes about 1 hour for 1 movie[ 700 mb], and makes the movie half the size after conversion. The 16gb model that i have has WiFi in it, i can download stuff from my pc, listen to songs and watch videos wherever i am in the range of the router. I can also chat on yahoo\msn\google messenger from my Zen X-fi.

Besides there is also The SD card slot, whcih you can fill up with probably an 8gb SD card (or leser) once you run out of space, which I highly doubt. The buttons are pretty easy to press, opposite to what i have read in many reviews, that people found it difficult to spot and press. All in all, if you have a budget of this sort, [ Rs.10,000 that is, since the price has evidently dropped], you can undoubtedly go for this player, take my word. Or may be, like me, you can ask someone to get the 16gb WiFi version from Singapore\Usa, which would cost about Rs.10,000-12,000. After all the Crappy ipod classic comes at Rs.10K, and sucks all the way. Its better to stand out with the Zen and not be termed as foolish followers. CREATIVE ZEN X-FI ALL THE WAY.

This is not available though in the 8gb version which is here in india, but then the price difference is there too. If you think this is highly priced, WELL its worth it. If you want something lower than this, there are certainly products of your choice in the market, but for hell's sake, don';t expect the same quality. The interface is the simplest, and the best. Put on a wallpaper of a beach in the background, and your Zen X-fi will look fantastic as ever. The bundled ear phones, and not ordinary, they are EP-830, in ear, which happen to be STANDARD* earphones from creative, and are not yet available in India for specific purchasing. Their cost alone, let me tell you, is 80 Singapore $, which means about Rs.3200. once they hit India, it will be no less then at least Rs.4000. In 8gb of space, you can fill as many as about 15-20 movies, songs as many as as many as 1600 songs, and photos well i won't calculate that, let us take it as infinite.
