With all the recent advances made in a market that was previously thought impossible to break into, namely Google's domination in searching tech, the search giant has been forced innovating itself.

It rolled out one of the features that have long been stuck in its Google Labs section. The Google Suggest feature suggests searches to you as you type. This feature has been around for quite a while in some browsers and it's about time they finally revealed something from their labs.

The introduction has been a long time coming and it does help quite a bit by reducing the number of keystrokes it takes to start searching, stops typos before they happen so you don't have to see the ubiquitous "did you mean " a product of the 20% time that Google gives to its employees to work on their own personal projects.

Google has expanded into a lot of new web ideas but its core search functions have remained unchanged for far too long, let's hope they continue to polish and release their Labs functions into the mainstream. In the meantime, take a look at the awesome features that you might not have seen at http://labs.google.com/
