Nokia is going overboard with its launches -- first came the iPhone 3G competitor N96, then the 8800 Carbon Arte and now -- N79 and N85. The two mid-range mobile phones come at a time when iPhone 3G is trying to establish its foothold in India.
The Nokia N85 slider features a 2.6-inch OLED screen, GPS with turn by turn navigation, a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and an FM transmitter. Nokia has also bundled 10 games and 8GB memory card with the phone.
The Nokia N79 -- candybar handset has similar features as the Nokia N85 but instead comes with a 4GB memory card.
Nokia is expected to retail N79 for around -- Euro 350 (Rs. 22,540) while the N85 will cost Euro 450 (Rs. 28981).
