How much are you willing to pay for a second-hand gaming console -- when you happen to be a 5-year old?

Brit child Archie Lovett, a 5-year old, used his grandfather's eBay (UK) account to bid nearly a whopping 200,000 British Pounds (more than Rs. 16 crore) for a second-hand Nintendo Wii, according to The Telegraph.

Apparently, Archie was looking around for toys on the Internet when he placed the bid. His guardians got to know about the matter only when Archie's grandfather received an email, asking him to pay GBP 197,654 for the product his grandson purchased.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time Archie has tried to purchase something online. His parents confirm that he almost bought a car online; they stopped him just in time before he could close the deal.

How did Archie Lovett learn to make a transaction on the Internet? Reportedly, that he did so by watching him buy and sell things online, his grandfather believes.

No doubt kids these days are smarter and perhaps more tech-savvy then their parents, but at such a young age they do not understand money.

Lesson to learn from this episode: If you happen to have a smart kid, and an Internet connection along with a transaction account, stay alert!
