  Good build quality, Improved keyboard and comfortable to use, Wi-Fi 802.11 n support, multi-touch scrolling, Good battery life, 80 GB storage space.

  Touchpad response still mediocre, Average Wi-Fi reception, Expensive.

I did the first generation Eee PC 701 review back in March.

Just a few months later, there was news of a new Eee PC in the making with better features. They launched a small update to the 701 model (called the Eee PC 900) in a few countries. As far as India is concerned, people at Asus realized that the main reason for people not buying the Eee PC was the measly 4 GB of SSD storage space in the 701 model.

While Asus was busy planning the release of their high-capacity, traditional hard-drive based Eee PC here, MSI won the race to the market and released the Wind last month.

The Wind proved to fix all the flaws that initial Netbooks faced and instantly became a hit with us reviewers. Now Asus hits back with their 1000H model, but can it reclaim the 'Best NetBook' tag from MSI Wind?
