Open Video on Firefox 3.1 (Shiretoko)

Word came down from the Mozilla Summit that Mozilla Firefox 3.1 (codenamed Shiretoko) will support Open Video Format. Christopher Blizzard posted about Mozilla's commitment to include OGG video and audio support for the video element tag. The open video format, Ogg Theora, is a codec with a difference - it will be entirely free of patents and royalties.
