Myriad reports are coming in from the US, suggesting that the XBOX 360 60GB version is out! But wait! Wasn't the launch date some time in "early" August? We're still in July and if these reports are to be believed, the XBOX has (again) jumped its original launch date in various Target stores across the US.
Earlier in 2007, the XBOX 360 Elite was up for grabs on Ebay a good two weeks before the launch date, sourced from Target once again. It seems either Target is too benevolent to the gaming community -- or that someone regularly misreads (or does not read) the memo.
Whatever the reason, this is good news for impatient gamers everwhere!
