Kindle 2.0 Rumoured to Launch In October

The latest news that has slipped out of the box is that Amazon is planning to launch two new models of Kindle in October this year. Kindle is an e-reader that has seen considerable success in the US market.
An insider has revealed that the first is an updated version of the original Kindle with same screen size but fitted in a smaller form factor with an improved interface, while the second model is said to be considerably bigger that the original. It is shaped like an 8 1/2 x 11-inch piece of paper, reports CrunchGear.
While giving out the details, the source described the old Kindle as something like the 1st generation Apple iPod, while the new models are as sexy as iPod Mini. The duo is expected to be available in multiple colors with the first model is expected to be seen in the market sometime in October.
