It's now ASUS' turn to join the Centrino 2 league.
The Centrino 2 platform hysteria continues with ASUS joining the rest by revealing its brand new laptop - ASUS F8Va-B1.
Based on the newly-launched Centrino 2 platform, ASUS F8Va-B1 is powered by Intel T9400 2.53 GHz CPU, 4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM, ATI Radeon HD3650 graphics chip, 320 GB SATA HDD for storage and Windows Vista OS installed.
The F8Va-B1 has a 14-inch WXGA screen supporting 1440x900 resolutions, HDMI out port, Blu-ray optical drive support and 1.3 megapixel Webcam.
With ATI's Radeon HD 3650 graphics chip and Centrino 2 CPU, better graphics and processing performance is expected from the new ASUS baby. ASUS laptop's battery life woes bother the existing laptop owners or potential buyers. At present, only Korea will enjoy F8Va-B1 by the end of July, but hopefully ASUS will soon release it worldwide later this year.
