Funny that we still call it "laptop" !! Just imagine placing it on your lap... it may even burn the best of jeans in few minutes, if you are careless enough :-)

Hello Folks, From all your stories, one thing is quiet sure..it remembers me Fox and Grape story. You dont have enough money in your pocket, then you talk always against of anything. so same applies here. If everyone think like you guys, then there wouldn't be XPS today. its the most popular one in USA, in fact giving strong compitation to Sony and Apple

Instead of buying this i refer to buy a gaming pc which will be around 50,000 which can run the latest upcoming games which need high graphics. I dont get y people call this a laptop, it does not have good charge able battery. What is the use of calling it a laptop. If u want gaming experience like this u can simply upgrade ur graphics by install Nvidia graphics and increasinfg the ram. Then if u compare ur comp with this laptop then there will be no difference

"The laptops Dual-DVD drive ..." I actually thought that it has two DVD drives and looked for pics. Shouldn't that be Dual-Layer DVD drive?

hey folks..... thee stuff are produced for a small segment of people....and it does the job..it has been bult for..(i.e) games and multitasking and high defination.. ....well battery tech is not so advanced to power such a beast at all times...screen is so big...etc things....and video card too...... THIS A IS A DESKTOP REPLACEMENT LAPTOP..which have to be fitted with wall charger at all times...... THERE IS NO WAY of comparing it with a desktop...u can do many things with money yaar....aree ppl saying we wud make 3 times fast pc....instead i guess...just but a ps3 and dozens of titles....u can do that too with so much money...... but the point is the laptop does what it is made for !!!!!! thanks abhishekk from chandigarh

Fact is no one is going to buy it and then use it for what its worth ... Those who can buy wouldn't likely have the time to play "games" ... While those who play "games" wont have money to buy it. Its a Laptop for the "rich kids" with condescending dads. However such a market segment in India will be quite small !!

Just a correction, The Right side of the Laptop does not have a PCMCIA Slot, instead it is an Express Card Slot
