A cool tool to chat up with your friends, or is it?

Face tracking, Sturdy, High quality video, Wide angle lens.

Manual focus, retention clip doesn't secure the camera well.

Design and Features

The VX-6000 looks almost identical to the VX-1000 except that it comes in silver. It is a small sturdy webcam that can also survive small drops without harm. It has a longer 6-foot cable but the clamp is the same as the one on the VX-1000 as well, lacking a spring again to secure it on the monitor. It fits on monitors but don't try shaking it.

An LED lights up above the lens when the webcam is in operation.

The camera has full 360 degrees horizontal motion and about 110 degrees of vertical motion. The Windows Live Messenger conference call button still just opens the messenger and gives you the option to choose who to call but does nothing else.

The ring around the lens can be rotated to manually focus the image. It works well, but with a webcam that is supposed to be high-end, it's strange to still have manual focus.
