The highlight of "Call of Duty: World at War" is that for the first time in the history of the CoD series, the game play will incorporate a co-op mode.
We came to know from a tweety bird nah Web site that the next iteration of Call of Duty (Call of Duty 5) will be called "Call of Duty: World at War" and will not be developed by Infinity Ward, rather by Treyarch Corporation - developers of Call of Duty 2 and 3. Activision will be making CoD 5 available on all platforms except the PSP.
The highlight of "Call of Duty: World at War" is that for the first time in the history of the CoD series, the game play will incorporate a co-op mode. Also, there'll be vehicles and squad-based combat in the multi-player mode. "World at War" is literally that -- the world is at war with most of the action at sea, the Pacific Ocean to be precise.
All in all, the game promises even more blood, gore, and fire power; it's been under development for two years now at Treyarch Studios. There's a whole lot of anticipation in the air; gamers will have to simply wait for the release.
