2 New Wireless-N Routers From Linksys
Techtree News Staff, May 27, 2008 1701 hrs ISTThe two new routers -- WRT160N and WRT310N -- feature the Linksys Easylink Advisor (LELA) which is essentially a 'Network Advisor in a Box'.
Linksys has announced the availability of its new ultra RangePlus wireless-N broadband router, as well as a wireless-N Gigabit router; both these products sport a stylish design with a shiny finish in a slim profile.
The two new routers -- WRT160N and WRT310N -- feature the Linksys Easylink Advisor (LELA) which is essentially a 'Network Advisor in a Box'. This software can help setting up the router with a series of simple questions, automatically check the network for updates available for the router, and help securely configure connected devices and computers.
In addition, it can also automatically check the PC and network for issues that may hinder the installation, and it also attempt to resolve any potential conflicts. No passwords or confusing network terminology are required, the company says.
The WRT160N and WRT310N are immediately available from authorised distributors, key retailers, and value-added resellers for a recommended sales price of Rs.5999 and Rs.7999, respectively.
