RCom Announces Unlimited Free STD

Close on the heels of Airtel slashing roaming, STD tariffs, Reliance Communications too has announced a similar value add -- Unlimited Free STD calls -- to be made available to existing and new Reliance subscribers across post-paid, pre-paid, and hello fixed wireless plans.
"Unlimited Free STD" will be offered on all Reliance-to-Reliance calls, both STD and local. The service will cost post-paid Reliance mobile customers Rs 440 per month and pre-paid customers Rs 496 per month -- both rentals inclusive of service taxes). It will cost Reliance Hello customers Rs 525 per month.
Speaking on the occasion, S P Shukla, president of Reliance Communications, said, "Our announcement of 'Unlimited Free STD' will permanently re-define customer calling habits and abolish state borders - this is One India, in true essence and spirit."
