Did you know that YouTube has quietly gone and changed its video pages layout?

Few would know that YouTube has now introduced a new layout on video pages with a new tab focused layout and video statistics.

Noticeably, the Share, Favorites (clicking on favorites now adds video to your list), Play lists (now gives options to create or select an existing play list and add videos to it), and Flag (now allows you to report video as inappropriate) options have now been combined into a single tab-driven box that appears below the videos. The Share option actually displays options for social book marking and voting sites like MySpace, Facebook, and Digg. There's also a 'more options' feature that provides additional options including del.icio.us, Furl, reddit, StumbleUpon, Live Spaces, and Mixx. YouTube fans can now post videos to a blog and send to friends via email. However, a login (with either a YouTube or Google account) is required to access the Favorites, Play lists, and Flag options.

Further, Commentary (comments and video responses) is now offered in a tab that appears next to Statistics and Info. Statistics offered include video honors (YouTube awards) and video referrals. While it seems as if users can hide site referral statistics, they get turned on by default -- at least for existing videos hosted on YouTube.

Earlier on, YouTube had announced YouTube Insight, a free tool that enables anyone with a YouTube account view detailed statistics about videos they might upload to the site.
