Put simply, the CPU is fitted inside the monitor, thus saving consumers the hassle of having an extra slot for the CPU tower on the PC table.
Zenith Computers has announced its newest SmartStyle PC, an all-in-one desktop that is unique in that it fits the CPU into the casing of the 17-inches LCD-TFT display.
Put simply, the CPU is fitted inside the monitor, thus saving consumers the hassle of having an extra slot for the CPU tower on the PC table. Moreover, it has a versatile 180 degrees mounting hinge that makes it possible for the monitor-CPU unit to be hung on a wall, integrated into a table top surface or on a table.
The SmartStyle PC is powered by Intel Dual Core Processor T2130 and has a hard disk capacity of 80GB plus memory of 1GB. The PC comes with built-in speakers and a full set of networking and wireless slots. It does not pack a CD/DVD drive, but offers a slot for the same in the display casing.
The SmartStyle PC is now retailing for Rs 20,000. Zenith says it has started a 24x7 'Always On' service for after-sales support.
i have zenith smartstylepc but i have no driver cd of it. so, plz you give me a link or path for download the driver for this pc. thanks and reply me fast
I have been using this machine for the last 6 months. It is simply superb in performance, egronomic feel and reliability. The price is also absolutely okay. Moreover, it is a very quiet (silent) unlike the other machine where the fans make a hell of a noise.
ITS UNFAIR ON YOUR PART TO GIVE THE DETAILS OF THIS INVENTION, YOU HAVE BEEN GOOD BEFORE, WHY NOT NOW?
WE NEED DIMENSIONS[PHYSICAL], AND THE PRICE OFFCOURSE!
I got the quote from a Zenith PC in Mumbai and they have quoted me Rs. 32 K . So is it some thing to mislead for a cheaper price Advertisement when in reality the cost is more ??
Apple has this concept implemented in Mac for a long time. And Zenith's product is no where near Mac in terms of style and innovation.
Also, Gateway One PCs has same concept implemented.
Apple is actually at much higher level compared to its counterparts. The price is for its innovativeness and for its uniqueness. Its worth paying for Apple products!! Full paisa vasool!!
ya it's like apple in the sense that you got to be a computer-novice in order to enjoy it... no much freedom. no cd/dvd..pretty poor in that sense. otherwise good.
yo brainless twat - apple may cost 5 times more for a good reason. its better to look at than this ugly piece of crap. wonder if ur head is made with same cheapo materials
And what r u? A Wh*re to Rip-u-off-in-the-name-of-coolness American companies and a bl@@dy leech on your parents' money(judging by your comment). Only a dumb @ss needs that dumbed down version of Unix with a sweet UI for 5 times the cost. Seems like your IQ is slightly below that of a grasshopper.
Dont you get anything worth your pleasure made in India. Oh wait you are a wannabe cool American teen in love with Apple gadgets. Sad, because you would still be a hopeless I-dont-work-but-I-spend-to-look-cool Indian kid with no life, substituting fancy products to make up for lack of self esteem and social life and a brain to come up with a different Screen name!
Also forgot to mention your brainless twit that Zenith is Made in India as opposed to made in China and made in Taiwan Apple products that are sold in India(yup thats true!).
"yo brainless twat - apple may cost 5 times more for a good reason. its better to look at than this ugly piece of crap. wonder if ur head is made with same cheapo materials"
nobody is asking you to buy this thing you dumb @ss.... and your head is filled with $hit to think of buying overpriced apple products... dont worry its made for $hitheads like you...
Dear sir only ur forgetting the cost of Mac products r prohibitive because of which when globally Bangalore is the destination for every small&big it companies then so called Great Mac ran for cover with all bruises winding up as this white elephant has had no appeal in this astronomical priced products in this country found no takers.
Reduces so many cables, zig zag cpu internal system, but make sure that system will have proper accessories usage facility, like usb, cd drive, deliver the ultimate product, not doubt it can rule the pc world
Hi,
We are using the amaze pc,cpu is inbuilt in the monitor, with all the pc features, but the support after sale is very bad, please let us know the support after sales.
service of zenith is horrible.. my friend had this zenith pc whose cd writer broke in a week.. they made us roam atleast a dozen times and to get it replaced.
Absolutely! There is no doubt Zenith has come up with a good idea. We should atleast not blame Zenith just for its Indianness. They are doing a good job infact!!
has anyone tried opening up a zenith 'PC' the traditional one
open up as in unsocker the cpu and all
check te processor it has no LOGO... its imprint is zenith!!! wtf... they think we r morons...????
the PCs are a bunch of crap so will this crammed piece of no peace junk...
Given the Indian temperatures, I wonder if this idea of combining a CPU with a monitor is a good idea. But for 20k it's definitely worth a look at. All those Apple afficianados, you should know how much an Apple Mac actually costs. And also, if people who will buy a PC for 20k will afford a costly Mac. It's a budget company. Save your wise comments for HP or Sony.
Good for the people who are in the budget limitation. More computer sales directly proportional to economy growth, more business boom and more jobs. Good work by Zenith team.
they shud have done something which was not done earlier.. thats true innovation...
zenith... there are a few cool apple guys here in india who knows the damn truth...
take care
i really doubt if hanging slot idea would work.
sounds interesting though.Costwise its descent.
I believe its USP is in CPU thats buld....saves places whc is a major concern desktop users come across.
" a good buy" ..depends on how they promote..all the best....
At the first look, it's beautiful, clean and the wall mounting is additional plus point. However, interface part (CPU with Monitor) seems limit to certain extend. It would be an extra edge, if USB driven add-on like extranal DVD/Combo are added along with wireless keyboard and mouse would definitely meet the growing demand of for all section of corporates

I think this is just starting for the window based systems. With the time there will be more innovations and I think I have seen one from Sony too in the US. The future looks bright to me although this is just the beginning.
