The new Job site allows employers and employees to interact together in life-like interactions via video interviews from any part of the world.
Now for those wanting to get good jobs without the trouble of traveling to places and going through rounds of interviews every time, here's an option of giving interviews online from any place and time of your convenience.
PGC Infotech, a subsidiary of Tirupur-based textile exporter, Prem Group of Companies, has forayed into the online space with the launch of their next generation career gateway, "Whereismyboss.com" (WIMB) featuring 'LiveConnect' for live online interviews.
Leaving behind the old online recruitment model, WIMP allows employers and employees to interact together in life-like interactions via video interviews from any part of the world.
To make use of the 'LiveConnect' service, all one needs is a 256 kbps Broadband connection, Web cam, a microphone, and a speaker.
In addition, users need not sit and type to fill in their details. Instead, the two technologies, LensXRay and Burning Glass (BG) can automatically do the needful. The first technology automatically extracts the text profile from the resume, while the latter converts it to an industry standard format.
Presently, BG technology is being used to speed-up the candidate registration process. However in future, the company plans to further use it as an integral part in alerting candidates of relevant positions, and helping employers focus quickly on the right talent.
During the occasion, D Prem, chairman of PGC Infotech, said, "Our online technology in conjunction with Burning Glass Technologies artificial intelligence will provide intuitive relevance in matching people with jobs based on its unique understanding of people and their careers."
Meanwhile, job seekers can enjoy other privileges such as stay informed of profile preferences, check out the boss who's added you as candidate, select the boss to whom you want your resume shown, remind for interviews, and access past interview history and search.
Presently, some of the employers who are clients with WIMB include Philips, GoAir, Sahara, DHL, and more.
Employers will have the greatest edge in terms of recruiting the best candidates the best match, best talent... what else do they need to make their company 2 b at the spot where they wantit 2 b.
Really Nice site, Will be usefull to the field of IT and Non IT, Non IT companies can use this site for the corporate meeting to expand the business scope. Prime product sellers can show cause the product and explain it to the customer with his requirements , much more usefull. Thank god indians are got the pattent, unlike the turmeric.......
I was just think of a similar concept , oh shit , these guys have launched it . The disappointment is , it says on the website it patent applied. They have gone ahead faster . Anyway, wish these guys good luck.
I think this will give a big move in the global IT. Will save cost and Time . Moreover I think this will improve the job option for 2 and 3 tire cities. I think the Internet cafe will be of good help here as it has better connectivity and is growing everyday . Anyway , I just did post my CV , it is a really lively portal and innovative. Loads of feature , but once we get use to it , I think we will really like it . Its more like a community portal and I read it is with the Web 2.0 clouser.
It really is an innovative feature and a convenient way to get your dream job. But I really doubt whether it really be successful as its a very late entrant into the online job portal market. Plus, a large part of India, at least the Tier II and Tier III cities are still not connected with broadband services. I think it wil be beneficial for metros and suburbs only.
its really gift of the year 2008 for the people seeking employment and the employer seeking for people and an online with saved time and obsolutely suits to indian condition
