Intex today introduced its new desktop, the Platinum BH-15431, equipped with Intel's Quad 2 Core processor technology among other features.

It features a Silver Black 17-inches TFT-LCD monitor, Intel Quad 2 Core 2.40 GHz processor with 8 MB cache, 1066 MB cache memory with the latest Intel G-31 chip set with up to 4GB support, and PCI-E x16 Slot, 8 channel audio, and 6 USB ports. Other features include: a DVD writer, 1 GB RAM, and 250 GB SATA hard drive.
Speaking at the launch, Sanjay Kumar, business manager (PC) of Intex, said Intex wishes to make further headway into the PC segment with the launch of such full-featured and contemporary machines. He expressed the view that a PC is no longer perceived as an IT hardware item but more as a gadget.
The Platinum BH-15431 desktop is retailing for a MOP of Rs 35,900.
