Those who've appeared for CAT exams last year can check their results on their mobile handsets.
As a special service for MBA aspirants across India, Rediff.com is offering CAT results on its short code SMS service, 57333.
Students can access results on their mobile handsets simply by sending a text SMS that reads: CAT followed by 'test registration number' followed by 'application number' to 57333 on January 8th (tomorrow) 3 pm onwards.
Alternatively, students can text SMS: CAT followed by 'test registration number' followed by 'date of birth' (in ddmmyy format) to 57333, and get results on their mobile phones.
In case of problems, users can send an SMS: 'CAT' to 57333.
The service will be available to mobile subscribers across operators. BSNL customers will be charged Re 1 per SMS, while premium SMS charges (Rs 3 per SMS) will apply in the case of all other operators.
