The specifications for the upcoming Sony Vaio SZ7 and the TZ2 have been revealed on the Sony's website. Both of these models will feature the Intel Core 2 Duo's new Penryn core. The successor to the Merom core, it's built on a 45 nm process and is meant to be more energy efficient than its predecessors. The TZ2 series consists of a Core 2 Duo T9300 processor with up to 4 GB of RAM and a 13.3 inch XBRITE widescreen display. It's powered by the Windows Vista Business Edition.

The SZ7 series consists of specifications similar to the TZ2 with the addition of an Nvidia 8400GM graphics card, 802.11 a/b/g/n support, a webcam, and a biometric reader. Its dimensions measure at 12.5 x 9.3 x 1.5 inches.

a link to the spec would have been better. Sony lacks warranty of 3 yrs, if you need that you need to pay higher...
