The demo can be downloaded at the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Live Marketplace, and lets gamers experience a slice of Paradise City.
Electronic Arts (EA) has released a fully explorable demo of its popular racing game, "Burnout Paradise".
The demo can be downloaded at the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Live Marketplace, and will allow gamers experience a slice of Paradise City before the game hits retail stores in North America on January 22, 2008.
In the demo, users get to try out the fastest Burnout Route in their Hunter Cavalry car. They can hunt for billboards and smashable targets all over Motor City, Big Surf Beach, and Ocean View. They also get to check out the new Stunt Run mode.
Up to three friends can join the game online, with one getting connected via the EasyDrive online system.
Once online, players can either co-operate to complete three FreeBurn challenges or simply smash each other, and grab Burnout Mugshots with the PlayStation Eye and Xbox Live Vision cameras.
Game developers, Criterion, claim the Paradise experience is all about freedom and exploration. The new game embraces speed, freedom, social online play, spectacular crashing, and above all, new modes, according to Criterion.
