Transcend's new, high capacity, 250GB StoreJet 2.5 SATA portable hard disk drive (HDD) is now available in the country.

StoreJet 2.5 is compact, and features a stylishly designed polished Aluminum case with contoured edges. With a high-speed USB 2.0 interface, the HDD provides data transfer rates up to 480 Mbits per second.

Featuring "OneTouch" auto-backup button, the HDD bundles Transcend's StoreJet Elite 2.0 software, offering backup scheduling, security, and power saving functions.

The HDD supports all commonly used operating systems, like Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac OS 9.0/OS X, and Linux Kernel 2.4.2 or later.

The StoreJet 2.5 SATA is available in colorful polished aluminum cases, including Titanium (120GB), Blue (160GB), and Silver (250GB).

The StoreJet 2.5 SATA is also available without a hard drive, as a sleek external enclosure in Silver, Blue, and Red.

Transcend's 250GB StoreJet 2.5 SATA portable HDD is available for Rs 7,900.

Dear Sir, I want to recover my important data from brand new Transcend 250 GB USB SATA HDD I bought it before 2 month ago. Can u give me the permission for Recovering Data from outer sources. I don?t have data in another PC that is much expensive data. They will break the seal will u accept after break seal. Please tell me as soon as possible. I am waiting for your reply. I have some details of HDD TS250GSJ25M 250GB STOREGET USB2.0 Internal 2.5? SATA HDD Anti-shock S/N : 231530-0272

But u need to have eSATA port in ur mobo to use it, which i doubt anybody has currently..

I guess the drive's internal interface is SATA. It will still come in a USB casing.

no, SATA is external interface of a HDD. The latest mobos have eSATA port.. so be sure to chkout before buying..
