    Here's another smart one. But is it worth price it demands?

    Good ergonomics, Tactile QWERTY keyboard, Multiple input options, Decent PDA functionality, Good battery life.

    Slow processor cannot manage multi-tasking well, No Wi-Fi, Low-resolution camera, Minor flaws in the Windows Mobile OS, Slow data transfers, Expensive.

Design

The Treo series has been incrementally getting better from model to model. And it was a god-send when Palm finally removed that pokey external antenna Treo 680 onward. The Palm Treo 750 looks pretty professional and could be mistaken for a Blackberry.

Measuring at 154 grams in weight and having 22mm thickness, the Treo 750 is not small for sure; but it's not too inconveniently big as well while carrying it in a pant pocket. It gives a firm grip due to its rubberized body.

The device bears a square-shaped, 240x240 pixel LCD touch-screen capable of displaying 65k colors.



Below the screen are a set of navigation keys followed by the backlit QWERTY keyboard. The data/charging connector lies at the base along with a 2.5mm stereo headphone jack.



The left comprises of the volume keys and a user configurable shortcut button.

SG Networks , Chennai , sell the following models in Palm : Palm Treo 650 / 680 / 750 / Palm Centro / Palm Treo Pro / & also Palm Pre . We also have all the original palm accessories of the above , like battery , charger , data cable , stylus , car charger , foldable wireless bluetooth keyboards . Friends, Having read the description of this new phone, I feel my Qool QDA 700 (Palm OS) is still better, though it too lags on bluetooth/Wi-Fi/other similar add-on and non-availbility of supporting accessories but I feel its worth its cost of Rs.9,800/-. Moreover why one should buy Treo750 for Rs.23 K; when other similar phones like O2, I-Mate etc. are readily available at much lesser price with more or same functionality. I had the opportunity to use Treo-650 (Palm OS based) few months back. The problem I observed was the keypad which for a frequent business traveller like me was too small to be used. Further smaller screen size stole the charm I had from my earlier possessions of O2 or I-Mate handsets. Thanks for reading. Vin6174

While the Touch and Q8 are good phones, they a touch screen AND a keyboard. Plus this one comes with a nice bluetooth keyboard which probably adds around 1.5 - 2k to the final price.
