Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a simple game -- man finds treasure map, man wants to find treasure, mercenaries learn about treasure map, mercenaries want to find treasure, man against an army of mercenaries, with nothing but his survival skills, and a beautiful girl.

If all this reminds you of Indiana Jones, you're on the right track. The game promises nothing new, but it delivers the old, not like a cliche but more like a timeless classic. Uncharted is a beautiful game, it's fun, it's fast, it's amazing to look at and it's on the PS3. Read on to know more about Uncharted: Drakes Fortune.

Summary

Nathan Drake claims to be a direct descendant of Sir Francis Drake, a legendary explorer who alleges to have found a great treasure. The secret to that treasure is surpassingly hidden in the explorer's own tomb. Nathan gets funding from a private company to extract the tomb, only to find out that the tomb contains no corpse, but a map inside it. As soon as he finds the map, he encounters some mercenaries who learn about his little adventure, that's how the game starts. And once it begins, it just never ends.

The story revolves around Nathan as he battles hordes of mercenaries and solves puzzles to claim his treasure. The lovely Elena Fisher is right on his tail, as they both fight, run, and share a chemistry that is so beyond video games. This one's a grand game with top notch production values and great gameplay elements. There are many twists and turns in the plot, something that may remind you of an Indiana Jones flick, but that's the whole theme and they follow it religiously. You may have heard many crib about the fact that the game is inspired from the Tomb Raiders series, or has a battle system similar to Gears of War (GoW), and so on. Inspite of that being true, it doesn't hamper the game's value. It's still one of the most enjoyable experiences in gaming after a long time.

Good review. Now what about a 'Ratchet and Clank- Tools of destruction' review?
