Design
The MX Air mouse is basically a premium-segment wireless laser mouse with 'Aerial' abilities. Its external appearance is nothing short of spectacular. From distance, it appears to be a scaled model of a car from those futuristic sci-fi movies. It's slightly longer than any standard mouse and has a wider base, which conveniently tapers as we move to its top. The semi-reflective, slightly fingerprint-prone, and polished-black body with a smooth silver base is definitely a head-turner. The left and right click buttons are seamlessly integrated on to the front surface.
The typical wheel-scroller is given the boot and is replaced by a touch-sensitive scroll panel. Below it are the 'Back', 'Select', 'Play/Pause', and 'Volume' buttons placed in order. These buttons are raised just a bit above the surface and their presence doesn't obstruct the user in any way. The buttons click very subtly, but they're tactile at the same time.

Another highlight of the design is the pleasant orange lightning on the buttons, which softly glow up every time the mouse is lifted off the ground. There's a battery indicator at the base that shows the battery-level whenever the mouse is turned on. The bottom surface consists of an on/off switch, followed by the laser-emitter and finally the charging connectors. The package includes a small dock on which the mouse gracefully rests while charging.
Lastly, the mouse comes in an impressive packaging which includes:
Logitech MX Air Mouse
Charging Dock with adapter
USB Micro-receiver
Polishing cloth
Logitech SetPoint Software CD
