Samsung has released a new range of LCDs. The SyncMaster 920BM is a 19" regular LCD, while the 920WM and the 2220WM are widescreen models.
All the models feature built-in speakers and Samsung's proprietary Magic Bright2 technology, which automatically adjusts brightness, contrast, and gamma. It also incorporates MagicSpeed technology, which allows for an ultra-fast response time of 5ms for enhanced motion graphics reproduction, and virtually eliminating blurring or ghosting.
The 920BM has a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels; the 920WM 1440x900 pixels, and the 2220WM, a gorgeous 1680x1050 pixels resolution. The 920BM and the 2220WM deliver a better 1000:1 contrast ratio as compared to 920WM's 700:1.
The 920BM has a suggested retail price of USD 249.99 (Rs.10,000). The 920WM is priced lower at USD 219.99 (Rs.8,800) -- probably due to the lower contrast ratio. The 2220WM comes for at USD 349.99 (Rs.14,000).
For a 22" aoc 210V with a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and a response time of 5ms, @ Rs.16000 is a better choice, because one can use this as a TV also(+an ext: tuner)
