A leathery executive-class laptop that flaunts status and excellence.

Lifestyle, Elegant, Good screen, Core Duo L7200 1.34GHz, 1 GB RAM.

Expensive, Poor graphics performance, Average battery

We've seen many unique products from various companies. These products aren't just made unique just for the heck of it; they're for a niche market - and doing so assures the exquisiteness of the product. Such products go by the name of lifestyle products. Today, we've one such device, a laptop, from Asus - the S6. This laptop flaunts status and excellence. But that's not all that today's executive looks for; it has to have solid performance to stand up to the demands of the new-age user.

The best laptop for its exclusivity is apple macbook pro. take one of that in a conference and no one will look at anything else. Its the thinnest and with an oled screen. And yes it runs on mac os x which is an added feature

Why are laptops still costing 40K+. With the sheer no of them that are being sold in favour of desltops, one would imagine prices dropping to some 20K. Oh, and the 1L or so price tag(doesn't matter anyway) is just bull. Technology gets outdated so fast, it won't be worth jack in 2 yrs.

I can't believe you guys are comparing an Asus with a Dell. More over, this asus is for a different target market, its for ppl for who 1 lakh Rs. is no big deal. Finally, comparing asus' build quality with a dell is almost blasphemous.

Asus S6Fm has nothing beyond novelty value of its leather covering- even admitted by the reviewer. Utter waste of almost 1 Lakh Rupees. I M sure not many dozens of these toy laptops are being sold in India. If I needed a small laptop- I would invest my 65k in a Dell XPS M1330.- more practical & a real laptop- not a Toy like this!!!!

DELL's Direct Delivery model ensures that prices are actually cheaper compared to other brands with similar configs... ACER has some good models too. However, my ultimate laptop will be when I am able to "configure" it on my own from the LAP to the TOP!!

even my thinkpad lasts 3 hrs with an intel t7100,this is just a crap i'd prefer the xpsM1330 over this, though it has a long delivery time.

A review of latest laptops available and their prices and a comparison is long overdue.
