Fifa 2008 is around the corner and is all set to release in about a month's time. I got a chance to play the demo of the Xbox 360 version.

Play Ball
The first thing you notice when you start the game is the loading screen: Ronaldinho is standing in the middle of the empty field; the camera is behind him in a Gear of War kind of angle.

After you choose the teams, kit, and forming strategies, you can practice while the game loads in the background. This is a cool feature - in fact you will end up practicing even after you get a message that says you can proceed to the actual game.

In the game, if you play most of the game in the "Tele" camera mode, you get to see some detailed graphics in the celebration cut scenes that play after you score a goal. The demo includes a good selection of songs, including "Static and Closer" (By Travis). Now onto the gameplay.
