Build and Design
K810i is a very well built handset. With the characteristics of its brother K790i, the new phone feels solid. It has slightly different dimensions: 106 x 48 x 17 mm. Its strong body makes it weigh 103grams; but this is very acceptable. It's a large 2-inch display with support for 240 x 320 pixels. The screen is a 256K TFT and has a very vibrant display - making it easy to read even in sunlight. K810i's joystick is of good build quality, but using it a lot while navigating starts to hurt the finger. The key layout around the joystick is much better than seen in K790i. The Internet Browser and the Function Key are separate and quite distinguished to avoid miss clicks.
The keypad of the phone has a different design. It feels like Sony Ericsson is trying various keypad designs; K550i, W610i, and W880i saw a different style. Now P1i and M600 share the same keypad. K810i on the other hand has a very unique keypad. It has stainless steel circles for buttons. The buttons are well spaced and make it pretty comfortable. It's any day better than the minus button keypad.
The camera button is placed on the right side of the phone. The volume controls are placed on this side, which double as a Zoom IN/OUT when in camera mode.

Near to the camera button is the IR port of the phone. The left side has a Play/Pause button, which is a hot key to start the Music Player in the background.

Just below is the Memory Card slot, which uses Sony's proprietary M2. It has a neat dust cover.
At the top, the phone has a power button. The power button doubles as a profile selector. At the bottom of the phone is the pop-port in the center with the lanyard slot on one side and the mouthpiece on the other. The back of the phone has the camera with a horizontal shutter.

Above the camera is the same Xenon flash available in the K790i and beside the camera is the speaker of the phone.
